FPM Marketing, Hamilton Mitsubishi and East Hamilton Radio came together for a local event in support of the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton. On Sunday, June 22 2008 Thunder on the Mountain Car Audio Show took place at Hamilton Mitsubishi rocking Upper James Street. Professional sound judges from East Hamilton Radio were on hand to do the judging for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The grand prizewinner received a trip for two to Niagara Falls, $200 spending money, a trophy, a 50-dollar give certificate from Philthy McNasty’s as well as a $100 gift certificate from East Hamilton Radio. Though it was FREE to attend the event, proceeds from food items sold for the barbeque, and the smash a car game, were donated to the United Way.
Plans are already in the works for next year’s event.
